1, The temperature difference between the worm gear motor and the environment is called temperature rise, which is caused by the heat of the worm gear motor, it indicates the heat degree. During worm gear motor running operation, if the temperature rise suddenly increases, it indicates that there is a fault, or the air duct is blocked, or the gear motor working load is too heavy.
2, In the design of the gear motor’s life expectancy, when the gear motor is running operation, the hottest spot temperature in the winding insulation is the limited working temperature of the insulating material. If the operating temperature exceeds the limited operating temperature of the motor’s insulating material for a long time, the aging of the insulation material will increase and the life span will be greatly shortened. Therefore, the temperature is one of the main factors of the life of the geared motor during operation.
3, The iron core of the geared motor in operation will produce an iron loss in the alternating magnetic field, and copper loss will occur after the winding is energized. these will increase the temperature of the geared motor.
4, The worm gear motor itself also dissipates heat. the equilibrium state is reached when gear motor heat generation and heat dissipation are equal, and the temperature no longer rises and stabilizes at a level.
When the heat generation increases or the heat dissipation decreases, the balance will be broken, and the temperature will continue to rise, and the expansion of the temperature difference will increase the heat dissipation, and reach a new balance at another higher temperature.
