SCWU, Series Shaft-mounted Arc Cylindrical Worm Gear Gearbox (standard by JB/T6387 – 1992) is directly assembled on the working machine spindle, including SCWU, SCWS, SCWO three series.
- Worm gear gearbox and worm gears are precisely forged by high rigidity steel and high-quality alloy steel respectively, and they are hobbed and ground which brings lower noise and temperature rising.
- Gears and shafts are carburizing hardened and quenched to HRC 55-62.

Working conditions:
the speed of the worm shaft of the worm gear gearbox does not exceed 1500 r/min; the working environment temperature is – 40~40 °C. When the working environment temperature is lower than 0 °C, the lubricating oil must be heated above 0 °C before starting; the worm gear gearbox can be positive Reverse operation.
